A stop in Miami is in the Tour schedule
One of the biggest changes on the PGA Tour’s 2026 schedule is the return to Trump Doral in Miami for the Miami Championship. Slated for April 27 – May 3, this Signature event doesn’t have a title sponsor yet, but the tour’s working on lining one up with multiple unnamed brands. Although there’s little update regarding the same, the PGA Tour’s expected to own and operate this tournament.
The tournament is set three weeks post-Masters and two weeks pre-PGA Championship. The schedule also locked in the Cognizant Classic of the Palm Beaches for Feb. 26 – March 1 at PGA National, kicking off the Florida Swing again.

Vidanta Mexico Open will now take place in the fall
Interestingly, the PGA Tour’s 2026 season kicks off a bit later than 2025, starting January 8 at The Sentry instead of January 1. This shift avoids having the season begin on New Year’s Day. From there, the tour follows a similar rhythm to 2025 through the Farmers Insurance Open, wrapping up on a Sunday
