Joe Rogan’s Fans Are All Saying the Same Thing About the Woody Harrelson JRE Episode

In an alternate universe, we can all safely agree that something like this may come out of Joe Rogan’s mouth: “I think human consciousness was a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist, by natural law.”

And anyone who has tuned in to HBO’s highly acclaimed True Detective series knows exactly what comes next. With a disgusted, flustered look, this dialogue has echoed in my ears. “I just want you to stop saying odd s–t like you smell a psycho’s fear or you’re in someone’s faded memory of a town. Just stop!” Well, this didn’t exactly happen on the latest Joe Rogan Experience episode but you get the idea right?

This time, Rogan welcomed Hollywood royalty, Woody Harrelson, for episode #2277 of JRE. ‘Detective Marty Hart’ is currently on a press tour to promote his upcoming film, Last Breath, set to release on February 28. As expected, the episode delivered. After all, Rogan and Harrelson share plenty of common interests—psychedelics, alternative medicine, and regenerative farming, to name a few.

For over two and a half hours, the duo dived deep into these topics and much more, keeping listeners engaged with their fascinating conversation. Rogan, clearly enjoying the discussion, later took to Instagram to express his appreciation: “It was an honor and a privilege to sit down and have a conversation with @woodyharrelson. What a friendly and cool guy. I really enjoyed it.”

And fans, most of whom hadn’t watched the episode yet, took to the comments section of Rogan’s Instagram post and let their thoughts known in no uncertain terms.

Fans react to Woody Harrelson’s Joe Rogan Experience episode

One fan pointed out the proclivity both Rogan and Harrelson have for a certain plant, and could only wonder how much of that plant by the two enthusiasts: “How much weed was smoked before and after?”

Another keen-eyed fan pointed out how different Harrelson sounded and looked on the podcast compared to his other media appearances and speculated whether the aforementioned plant has something to do with it: “God damn he was so high man I don’t think I’ve heard him talk like that”.

Harrelson, of course, has an effortless coolness about him. Everything from his body language to his distinctive Texan drawl, everything about him is cool and one of the main reasons he is so popular. One fan alluded to this: “He seems like he’d be the coolest dude to hang out with”.

One of the biggest memes associated with Harrelson, of course, is his remarkable likeliness to ‘Breaking Bad’s Skyler White played by Anna Gunn. That is why one fan hilariously asked Rogan to have both Gunn and Harrelson on at the same time so that these speculations could be laid to rest: “Would you invite him and Skylar from breaking bad so we make sure they’re not the same person?”

For the unversed, it is widely speculated that Woody’s dad, Charles was a hitman who was convicted for multiple murders. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. even suggested in an interview last year that Charles was involved in the murder of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy. One fan felt let down that Rogan didn’t ask Woody about his father’s possible involvement in the JFK assassination, one of the most famous murders in the history of the world: “Not 1 mention of JFK??? Joe, I’m a little disappointed”

Given the eclectic and unique views both Rogan and Harrelson share on various topics, one fan was sure that the chemistry between the two men would be electric and must result in a podcast episode for the ages: “I know this interview is insane ”. What do you think about Woody Harrelson’s JRE podcast appearance?
