Paul Corsaro and his IU Indianapolis team were on their way back to campus, still reeling from a tough loss to Northern Kentucky, when disaster struck in the most unimaginable way. What started as a routine ride home quickly turned into a nightmare.

The bus carrying the team was struck by a mechanical failure and burst into flames. Thankfully, Jeff Goodman confirmed that everyone managed to escape before tragedy could strike, but not without a cost. Most of their personal belongings were burnt to ashes.

Coach Corsaro released a statement saying, “The most important thing is that everyone was safe,” “Things can be replaced. People can’t.”
