Mavs GM Nico Harrison finally received a cheerful reception from fans! Not sure if he should take that in a positive light because it wasn’t the fans from Texas. Tonight, the 52-year-old is about to face the biggest test of his life. Unfortunately, it’s already looking like a losing battle. By now, you must have guessed it. Yes, Luka Doncic will face the Dallas Mavericks for the first time in the Lakers’ uniform in Los Angeles. And the boisterous LA crowd has something to say to Harrison (A warm greeting).
Harrison has been strolling across California over the last few days. Recently, he was spotted at the Mavericks’ visit to SF. I don’t need to remind you but it went viral when ESPN made it a point to pull up a split screen for Harrison and Rob Pelinka multiple times throughout the live game.
Tonight, he visited the Crypto.com Arena for the much-awaited match-up and the Lakers fans had a message for him as he walked out of the tunnel. Fox Sports’ Melissa Rohlin reported that the fans screamed, “Good trade, Nico! We love you, Nico!” Well, this must be something that Harrison wanted to hear from the Dallas crowd!
