“I’m not going to lie, I just don’t like him.” DeMar DeRozan made his feelings about Dillon Brooks clear after they got into a heated physical altercation last year. Well, they reignited their beef last night during Rockets vs Kings, as the two players locked horns once again, leading to major penalty from the officials. And a leaked audio reveals the verbal back and forth that led to the eventual altercation.
As DeRozan posted up Brooks and began bullying his way to the basket, he lost control of the ball due to the Rockets star’s physical defense. Hyped after forcing the turnover, Dillon yelled “All Game!” while DeRozan walked back to his side of the court complaining to the official about the no-foul call. Then, Deebo pointed at Brooks, which led to the forward confronting the Kings star, “The f— are you talking about?”
DeRozan seemingly responded, “Shut the f— up, p—- a—n—-!” Sure enough, this comment riled up Brooks and he gave a hard shove to Deebo. Before the situation escalated any further, their teammates stepped in and separated them. But DeRozan was still angry at the Rockets star and yelled repeatedly, “Push me again! Push me again!… Push me!”
