Joe Rogan Makes Kanye West a Laughing Stock as Rapper Falls Prey to Online JRE Hoax

Kanye West’s relationship with social media, particular Twitter (now X) has always been a rollercoaster, and it doesn’t seem like he’s stepping off anytime soon. The rapper and fashion mogul struggles to stay away from the platform for more than a few days. But whenever he returns, it’s usually to stir up controversy or drop information that gives the fan something to talk about. The latter was the case on Friday night when Kanye posted a screenshot of a text conversation, claiming it was with popular podcaster Joe Rogan. However, the situation took an awkward turn when the real Rogan stepped in to set the record straight.

The whole situation quickly became a tangled mess. West appeared excited about the idea of sitting down with Joe Rogan to discuss his recent controversial remarks about Jewish people. In the text exchange, the person Kanye believed to be Rogan admitted feeling uneasy about his statements and wanted to give him a chance to clarify them on record. Kanye, saw this as a win and commented, “That’s exactly the idea,” he replied enthusiastically. “I’m glad to hear the tweets made you uncomfortable.” Confident that the conversation was set in stone, Kanye took to X to announce that an interview with The Joe Rogan Experience podcaster was on the way.

However, the UFC color commentator was quick to step in and remind him that he was not talking to the real one. Rogan posted, “Hey, @kanyewest, I don’t know who you’re talking to, but that’s not me”. There is no doubt that Kanye West couldn’t hide his excitement while speaking to Rogan. It’s not every day that you speak to the legendary podcaster who a fanbase in the millions. But, as it turns out, he was duped. And unfortunately, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened to him. Kanye previously found himself in a similar situation when he exchanged messages with what he believed was rapper Baby Keem.

However, he later found that he had been talking to a dedicated Keem fan instead. With this pattern emerging, one can only hope that Kanye’s team steps in and does a little more fact-checking before he falls for another online mix-up. Kanye West and Joe Rogan aren’t strangers to each other. West previously appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience episode #1554, where the two had an in-depth conversation. Despite the rapper’s controversial remarks about Hitler and Jewish people, Rogan still had some positive words for him. But he feels he is slowly becoming his own enemy.

Joe Rogan gives his honest opinion on Kanye West and his constant rants

Kanye West may be known for his hit songs, but lately, it’s his public outbursts that have caught the attention of the fans. Time and time again, he’s found himself at odds with the court of public opinion. Yet, through it all, Joe Rogan stepped in to defend him on multiple occasions. However, even the most loyal supporters have their limits. Rogan has openly admitted to being a fan of Kanye, he recently expressed frustration over the rapper’s habit of speaking without considering the consequences. While speaking to Tim Dillon on JRE episode #2162, he seemed really disappointed with the way the 47-year-old has been behaving.

Despite his successful music career, Kanye West has repeatedly landed in hot water over his controversial remarks. However, Dillon argued that someone like West should be judged differently when he says something outrageous. He suggested that his words might not always warrant the same level of scrutiny as others. But Rogan was quick to share his opinion on West’s rants.

He said, “Well, it’s like he’s his own enemy. It’s just like he can’t, the rants just go. They just come flying out. And who knows how much of it he’s really even committed to until he says it, and then once he’s saying it then he’s really committed.” Without a doubt, the JRE host is a fan of Kanye West and his works in the music industry. But it seems he is slowly losing his patience with him.
