Last year, the Washington Commanders were serious players – both on and off-the-field. Off-the-gridiron, Dann Quinn’s team took the decision to draft Jayden Daniels. As a result, they were finally able to end the 33-year drought by reaching the divisional round. But as the ultimate goal is to win the Super Bowls, Quinn is leaving no stone unturned to boost the team, especially the offense with powerful weapons for the QB.
According to USA Today, “The Commanders have plenty of cap space to improve the offense around Jayden Daniels further.” Hence, having such a blessing, Dann Quinn is now eyeing for the former Cowboys WR, Michael Gallup.
As per NFL insider Ian Rapoport on X, “The #Commanders are hosting WR Michael Gallup on a visit tomorrow, source said. A ton of familiarity on that staff.” A couple of days Rapoport also highlighted, “Former #Cowboys WR Michael Gallup, who abruptly retired last offseason, intends to make a comeback, per his agent Kevin Robinson. The #Raiders released him from the reserve/retired list today for that reason. He’s still just 29.”
So, Dan Quinn is eyeing on him. Hence, it remains to be seen what’s the outcome on March 11. Until then, the Commanders gave four picks to Houston to get left tackle Laremy Tunsil on Monday. No doubt the offense is building for them!
Stay tuned, we are coming up with more….
