Jaylen Brown’s Ex-GF Kysre Gondrezick Turns Heads on IG Amid Strong Statement Against Celtics Star

Breakups can leave you reeling — or they can fuel a comeback. After her split from Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, Kysre Gondrezick isn’t just bouncing back — she’s leveling up. From locking down a major deal with Porsche to getting brutally honest about the pressures of fame, Gondrezick is reclaiming the spotlight on her own terms. And her latest Instagram post? It wasn’t just about the car — it was a power move.

Gondrezick recently shared a sleek shot on Instagram, sitting behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet with the top down. “Nothing beats cruising in style along the stunning West Coast in this 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet . Smooth ride with the top down is always a WIN! This beauty is a dream come true! #PorschePartner,” she wrote.

The post came shortly after she announced her partnership with Porsche USA, a major off-court win for the 26-year-old.

Super excited for this partnership! Thank you @porscheusa for inviting me to New Orleans for The Sports Power Brunch… truly had a blast surrounded around such impactful and powerful women #porschepartner,” she shared on February 19.

She later doubled down on the excitement on X, writing, “Super excited for this partnership and becoming an ambassador of Porsche USA #porschepartner.” While the financial details of the deal haven’t been disclosed, it’s clear this is a major milestone for Gondrezick as she expands her brand beyond basketball.

But Gondrezick’s resurgence isn’t just about luxury cars and sponsorship deals — it’s about reclaiming her power. In a recent episode of Straight to Cam with Cameron Brink and Sydel Curry-Lee, Gondrezick got real about the lessons she’s learned from her past relationship. Without naming names, she offered a revealing glimpse into why things ended with Brown. “Today it is non-negotiable for me when a guy tries to dim my light. I had to learn from, you know, my previous relationship that it’s not okay,” she said. Gondrezick then dropped a bombshell: “It’s funny because I was literally told your job is to sit here and be beautiful and quiet.

From breakup to breakthrough: Kysre Gondrezick’s rising profile post-Jaylen Brown

The comment hit hard. While Brown has remained tight-lipped about the breakup, fans have picked up on the split — and Gondrezick’s social media activity hasn’t gone unnoticed. “Why you follow Jayson Tatum but not your ex anymore? You’re petty , one fan commented, hinting at some post-breakup tension.

Gondrezick and Brown ended their relationship at the start of the 2025 NBA season. A source told Page Six that Brown started “distancing himself to focus on ball,” leaving those close to the couple surprised. “No one in their circle saw it coming,” the source added. The split seemed abrupt, especially considering how serious things had appeared.

The pair had been dating since last summer and even made their red carpet debut at the 2024 ESPY Awards, looking like a power couple in the making. During their relationship, Brown pulled out all the stops — a romantic trip to Brazil, Chanel bags for her 27th birthday, a boat ride, and even Christian Louboutin shoes. On the surface, it seemed like the two were perfectly in sync, but behind the scenes, things were clearly unraveling.

Another fan kept it light, writing, “Gorgeous car and lady! ” The Porsche deal has certainly put Gondrezick in the spotlight, and while the terms of the partnership remain under wraps, it’s a major win for someone navigating life after a high-profile breakup.

Fans are rooting for her comeback. “Sooo happy to see her winning off the court. Still want to see her on someone’s team. She’s a bucket ,” one fan wrote. Gondrezick’s talent has never been in question — it’s just a matter of finding the right fit.

Her basketball career, however, has hit a rough patch. Gondrezick was drafted fourth overall by the Indiana Fever in 2021 and later joined the Chicago Sky. But in June 2024, Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca waived her just before non-guaranteed contracts would become permanent. Over her career, she averaged 1.7 points, 0.9 assists, and 0.9 rebounds in 24 games. Despite the setback, Gondrezick remains optimistic. “I’m just excited to see the outcome of what my journey is going to be with the W, because I don’t think that I’m done anytime soon,” she told The Spun. “I don’t want to say that that was an ending. I want to say it was more so a transition.”

“Let’s shoot something for you and the partners! Great looks in this,” one fan suggested, hinting that Gondrezick’s Porsche deal could open even more doors. As a model and aspiring actress who’s also balancing a basketball career, Gondrezick seems to be hitting her stride off the court. Between high-profile events and acting classes, she’s proving there’s more to her story than basketball.

Her honesty struck a chord with fans. “Y’all two look amazing together. Btw. The way you came across on Cam Brink’s podcast regarding your journey and growth was impressive. Best wishes going forward ,” one fan commented. Gondrezick’s ability to balance vulnerability and strength is what makes her story compelling — and why fans are invested in what’s next for her.

Gondrezick recently opened up about the pressures of fame during an appearance on Straight to Cam with Cameron Brink and Sydel Curry-Lee. “I had, you know, just signed with Adidas, and so the narrative was, you know, she’s this pretty basketball player. I kind of fell into that trap and, um, lost the art of, you know, not realizing that I was already enough when I got there; that I didn’t need to change to fit what everyone else saw.” Gondrezick spoke candidly about the struggle to balance being an athlete and a public figure.

“I was 24 at the time, and it just kind of grew on me, living that double life. I got tired of it, you know? Seeing myself on billboards and seeing myself at home in a mirror, and I’m like, ‘That’s not me.’ You know, I felt like I had to continue to chase that illusion of beauty that is never-ending. So when basketball was on break, I got a chance to just kind of figure out who I am away from the game.”

Even though Gondrezick remains a free agent, she isn’t sitting still. Over the past few months, she’s been spotted at New York Fashion Week, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards. If this is just the beginning of her next chapter, it’s clear Gondrezick isn’t just surviving post-breakup — she’s thriving.
