For those unaware, Serena welcomed their youngest baby girl in August 2023 after announcing their pregnancy against the backdrop of the year’s Met Gala. Years after being a Marvel fanatic, Ohanian switched to another fandom. Back in 2023, the tech entrepreneur revealed that he finally started watching the highly popular Japan-based anime show Naruto. Taking to social media, he shared the update with fans saying, “Finally watching Naruto.”
Not to be outdone, Serena’s husband later announced that his capital venture firm, Seven Seven Six (776), was backing Sekai – a company that secured a global license to develop official Naruto consumer apps. However, the surprising bit came when Ohanian caught fans’ attention by drawing a cute reference between the anime series and his daughter.
On Tuesday, March 18, the Reddit co-founder took to X and highlighted how Adira ran quite similarly to the anime series protagonist Naruto Uzumaki. He shared a GIF clip of the character running and wrote – “Also, DeeDee runs like this and it’s the best thing ever. And yes my list is Naruto-related.” It is worth noting that both his children stay rather active when it comes to physical activities. Just last month, the millionaire posted an adorable sighting of his daughters playing soccer in their home’s backyard.

When it comes to his eldest daughter Olympia in particular, the loving father tends to be more involved in helping her realize her potential. The duo has been a regular on the golf field instead. Ohanian once addressed fans cheekily saying that he is learning to play golf with Olympia on the weekends. And hey with every practice session, the father-daughter duo seems to be getting better.

Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian first met each other in May 2015 over breakfast in Rome. The unexpected acquaintance led to the duo eventually going out on dates but, it wasn’t until Ohanian expressed his interest in Marvel that Williams realized he was “the one.” With such interests helping them bond, the prospects of anything spoiling their brewing romance couldn’t be on the charts.
The former World No. 1 has been quite open about her love for Marvel. Serena once said on The Run-Through with Vogue Podcast, “I’ve been in love with the Marvel Universe for a very long time.” So naturally when Ohanian brought up the subject during their dinner date, she was all ears.
