“I Didn’t Want to Continue to Hit Him” – Jalin Turner Makes a Confession on Shocking Decision to Retire From UFC

Jalin Turner raised a lot of eyebrows when he recently announced his retirement from the UFC, and that too, at just 29 years old. There were a lot of speculations on his decision to hang up those gloves so early, but we now have some answers. According to Turner himself, he started having thoughts about summing up his fighting career after getting called out by fans for getting carried away while fighting King Green.

While speaking on the Ariel Helwani show, Jalin Turner revealed, “I got a lot of strife from the finish with Bobby [King Green], and the community was like, ‘Why didn’t you stop?’” He further stated, “I’m a good guy, so that wasn’t my intent to continue to hurt the guy, but that’s what you got to do in the sport, you know. You go until the ref calls you off,” claiming that he didn’t break any rules.
