Jacob Bridgeman signed for TaylorMade right out of college. Then ranked second in the PGA Tour University Rankings, just behind Pierceson Coody, the 2022 Clemson grad turned pro with Adidas and TaylorMade as his sponsors. He is currently playing at the Valspar Championship taking place at the Copperhead course. After the first day’s play, he is leading, having carded 4 under. Surely, his making most of his bag full of TaylorMade clubs
At the top of his bag is a TaylorMade Qi35 LS driver with a 10.5-degree loft. The PGA Tour pro are not the hardest hitters on Tour. Bridgeman averaged just around 297.3 yards so far this year (the Tour average is 300.5 yards). He ranks 132nd in the Tour in driving distance and 93rd in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee. Bridgeman uses a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 60 6.5 shaft with the driver. The Qi35 LS comes for $649.99 in the market.
But the most interesting factor is that Bridgeman is one of the few golfers who keep a mini-driver in their bag. The TaylorMade BRNR Mini Driver Copper (13.5 degrees) is fitted with the Project X Denali White 80 TX shaft. Tommy Fleetwood is another golfer who carries a mini-driver with him, by the way.

Next inside his bag is a 7-wood. Bridgeman uses a TaylorMade Qi35 (21 degrees) fairway wood, which is fitted with a Graphite Design Tour AD XC 8 X shaft. 7-woods are great for finding fairways and even launching your ball high off the fairway as well in long par-5s, like the 609-yard 5th hole at Innisbrook Resort where Bridgeman made a birdie, or the 549-yard 1st hole where he carded an eagle in the first round of the Valspar Championship.
Speaking of which, Jacob Bridgeman trusts TaylorMade P770 for his 3 and 5 irons to reach the greens. Whereas, a TaylorMade P7CB 6-iron also decks his bag. P770s are listed at $1,399 on TaylorMade’s official website, as are the P7CB ones. Bridgeman uses a Project X 6.5 shaft with these. The Clemson alum ranks 86 in the SG: Approach to Green in the Tour.
Wedges and putters Jacob Bridgeman uses
As for his short game, Bridgeman puts his faith in TaylorMade Milled Grind 4 wedges, which are priced at $179.99. He has three wedges with different lofts: 50°, 54°, and 60°. The PGA Tour pro ranks 22nd in scrambling in 2025 and 30th in SG: Around the Green, gaining 0.330 strokes against the field. Bridgeman fits a Project X 6.5 shaft to the 50° and 54° wedges. Whereas, a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 goes with the 60° one.
As for the last club in his bag, the 25-year-old golfer veers away from TaylorMade. Ever so slightly at times. He uses a Bettinardi DASS BBZero Tour putter made famous by Matt Fitzpatrick. It wasn’t the same model, but the Englishman used a prototype from the same OEM to win at Brookline.
Nevertheless, Jacob Bridgeman puts two more flat sticks inside his bag. The Scotty Cameron T-9.5 Tour Prototype and TaylorMade Spider Tour are also there to help him on the greens. Bridgeman is 17th in the PGA Tour in SG: Putting, gaining 0.624 strokes against the field. More importantly, he ranks 3rd in putts made from 10-15’ and 11th in putts made from 15-20’.
