Cameron Brink & Stephen Curry’s Sister Disagree Over Caitlin Clark’s NBA All-Star Snub as Personal Texts Come to Light

Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink and co-host Sydel Curry-Lee did battle over the hot-button WNBA topic of Caitlin Clark not participating in the NBA All-Star 3-point contest during a recent episode of the Straight to Cam podcast and revealing some unknown facts about the WNBA superstar.

Curry-Lee admitted that there was a missed opportunity for synergy between the leagues. “The goal is always to get more eyes on the W,” she said. “Yeah, obviously, I think it would have been good if Caitlin had done it too this year, but she already has so many eyes on her as it is.”

However, Brink doubled down on her protective stance toward her close friend and fellow 2024 draft standout Clark. “She needs a break. I’m always texting her, saying, You need to take a vacation for three months!” Brink revealed. When Curry-Lee quipped, “Does she rest?”

Brink replied: “She likes to have a good time; she seems like the type of person who’s always on the go. She’s definitely always in the gym, working her butt off.” Clark’s choice to put attention on the WNBA All-Star 3 point contest over the NBA’s signature event has divided fans. Some said she was snubbing the move, and others saw her as committed to elevating her own league.
