Earlier this week, Emma Hayes dropped the USWNT’s roster for the upcoming doubleheader against Brazil. And do you know what’s the best part about it? The emphatic return of Trinity Rodman, who was last seen for the occasion of the 2024 Paris Olympics. While ardent fans would be hoping to catch the Washington Spirit forward in action, Hayes is still finding ways to integrate Rodman back into the team!
Honestly, we don’t blame her. For someone who couldn’t have her star forward at her disposal for more than three windows, she would tend to have the feeling of such doubt. On top of that, being sidelined in between due to her back injury, especially which she recuperated from not a long time ago makes it more difficult.
“To get (Trinity Rodman) back is really exciting. I do have to urge a bit of caution…it can go from a managed return to play, to too much. So I have to try and a sweet spot in camp to integrate her back into the team,” said Hayes while addressing her latest roster pick.
(This is a developing story…)
