He disclosed that his assistant, Melissa, had discovered stories from ten years ago in which he had jokingly stated that he would like to attend the 100th Masters Tournament in 2036. “It goes longer than that,” Nantz stressed.

I was uncomfortable that there was so much attention given to it. I think what sometimes makes it new is that it gets spun in a certain way,” he further added.
