April 20, 2024 – the day LSU won their first NCAA title in many years. Many would have thought that this would have been the last of Olivia Dunne as this was her graduation year, but the gymnast was ‘not dunne yet’. That was the caption of her Instagram post where she announced that she is coming back to LSU. How? She had to Covid year in the banks and she cashed it in. But now was the LSU defends its title, it will be Dunne’s last. So she bid goodbye to the LSU gym in her own style. How?
The social media sensation with over 5 million followers on Instagram, Dunne, took to the platform to say her goodbye to the LSU gym. She made a reel with her batch mate, Haleigh Bryant, on the trend that uses Scott Street by Phoebe Bridgers. It starts with Dunne mouthing the words, “Bye I will see you at practice tomorrow,“. The camera cuts to Bryant, where she mouths the words, “Liv this is our last practice ever.”
The scene then continues to the two of them hugging it out and then walking off funny. Olivia Dunne donned the black Nike shorts, and so did Bryant. The only difference in their attire was that the former wore an LSU tank top while Bryant had an LSU sweatshirt on. “how can this be our last practice,” captioned the LSU gymnast.
Haleigh Bryant, who is also a graduate student and enjoying her last season with the Tigers, commented, “Been a good 5 years .”
