Once, Patrick Mahomes‘ little sister Mia Randall told her mom, Randi Mahomes, “Mom, I want to be an athlete.” As any proud mom would, Randi encouraged her right away, saying, “Yes, you can do anything you want.” Fast forward a few years, and Mia is living those dreams out loud.
By the time Patrick Mahomes eventually hangs up his NFL cleats, it’s clear his little sister will be ready to take the spotlight in the sports world. At just 13 years old, Mia has already become a multi-sport athlete, winning hearts everywhere she goes. From tennis and basketball to volleyball and softball, she’s making her family prouder with each step. And just recently, she did it again!
On Friday, Randi Mahomes took to her Instagram story to celebrate Mia’s latest accomplishment. In a sweet video, she proudly showed off Mia’s new medal, sharing, “Mia got a medal this week at TAPSAC. It’s a her end of the season tennis, and she was in doubles and rocked it. I’m so proud of her.”
Alongside the video, Randi posted an emotional caption, tagging her daughter and writing, “Proud Mom moment! So proud of my girl @miablissss.” Dressed in a red top and blue jeans, Randi’s pride was shining even brighter than her smile. But this isn’t the first time Randi Mahomes has celebrated Mia’s milestones.
Time and again, she’s shared her daughter’s victories, often calling herself “blessed.” Speaking of Mia once, she said, “Watching her grow into the amazing athlete she is today has been one of my greatest joys. From little moments on the fridge to big moments on the court, I’m always her biggest fan.”
Clearly, it’s not just Patrick Mahomes who makes her proud – Mia and even Jackson Mahomes (especially for his kindness toward kids and the KC community) bring that same pride home. But while the Mahomes family shines as a picture-perfect example of love and support, one thing feels a little off – Patrick’s lesser-known half-sister, Zoe, doesn’t seem as involved with the rest of the family.
Patrick Mahomes and his wife ignored Zoe at a function?
Patrick Mahomes’ half-sister, Zoe Claire, turned 11 on April 13. Mahomes’ family wished the little footballer on her occasion, sending her love and hugs. But Brittany and Patrick Mahomes opted to keep silent. Yes, you heard it right!
A couple of days ago, Brittany Mahomes went all out for Miranda’s 30th birthday. But amidst the celebration, fans couldn’t help but notice something missing. Patrick Mahomes and Brittany didn’t publicly wish the Kansas City Chiefs’ QB’s half-sister, Zoe Mahomes, a happy 11th birthday. This provoked fans to sense something fishy in their relationship.
It’s not like the trio didn’t gel with each other. Zoe has been seen with the couple many times before or after the games, or even sometimes at family occasions. But this recent snubbing has confused many of their fans.
Nevertheless, Zoe’s parents, Pat Mahomes Sr. and Anika Cooper, made sure to celebrate with her. The former MLB pitcher shared sweet moments, including a dance video and a photo of Zoe wearing Patrick’s No. 15 jersey next to soccer legend Lionel Messi. Anika also posted a heartfelt tribute, calling Zoe her sunshine and telling her to keep beating to her own drum.
But even a week later, there’s still no shoutout from Patrick or Brittany. Fans expected at least a simple post, especially after Miranda’s big celebration. Whether it was forgotten or intentional, no one really knows. For now, Brittany keeps sharing pieces of her life, but Zoe’s birthday still sits quietly unnoticed. Maybe the Mahomes family will give Zoe her moment. Or maybe they won’t. Well, time will tell!
