Conor McGregor Throws Shade at Dana White & UFC With $411M Venture’s Epic Faceoff

Conor McGregor may not be inside the UFC Octagon right now, but he’s still making waves outside Dana White’s empire. While fight fans still hope for his long-delayed UFC comeback, McGregor’s focus has shifted to another battleground: Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). And let’s be honest, he isn’t just dipping his toes in. He’s going full throttle as a part-owner and promoter.

On a recent post on Instagram, ‘The Notorious’ sparked fresh headlines by promoting a high-stakes face-off between Ramiro Figueroa and James “Get Down” Brown at BKFC Fight Night Omaha.

From hyping the bout on Instagram to throwing cryptic jabs that fans believe are aimed at the UFC and White, McGregor looks locked in with his $411 million bare-knuckle baby.

“Fantastic, fair fights at BKFC,” McGregor wrote in his Instagram story—just a few words, but loaded with subtext. Was that a subtle swipe at the UFC and Dana White’s matchmaking politics? Or a not-so-quiet statement about where the action really is?

Then came the face-off. The official BKFC page shared footage of the two warriors going nose to nose, with a booming voiceover teasing, “Face off right here. It’s gonna be a fantastic fight. The undefeated Ramiro Figueroa taking on James Brown.”

In a statement made on the official BKFC website, the 22-year-old undefeated Figueroa stated, “I just fight whoever they give me, and I’m happy to get an experienced opponent. Nothing has changed. I haven’t stopped training since my last fight.”

With McGregor’s name now tied to the promotion as a part owner, the company is expanding fast. When the UFC planned a blockbuster return to Australia for UFC 312 earlier this year, Conor McGregor and BKFC didn’t miss a beat. BKFC soon announced its own expansion into Australia, on the heels of the UFC’s announcement.

So while Dana White may be trying to figure out when, or if, McGregor returns to the UFC, the Irishman is already seemingly outgrowing his empire, one bare-knuckle brawl at a time! And what if ‘The Notorious’ decides to step into the BKFC Arena himself? ‘The King of Violence’ is ready to welcome him with open arms.

Mike Perry challenges Conor McGregor as ‘The Notorious’ invites him to “come home”

Mike Perry is no stranger to chaos. In fact, he thrives in it. But is he on a collision course with Conor McGregor? Earlier this month, it looked like the tide had turned. At BKFC 70, McGregor shifted his tone. Gone were the sharp jabs thrown after Perry’s boxing loss to Jake Paul last summer.

Instead, the Irishman stated at the post-fight press conference, “He should come home. Mike should come home. He still shows love to the game, and we’ll always have love for Mike Perry for sure. And yeah, me and Mike would be a great fight for sure.”

Perry wasn’t exactly caught off guard. On ‘The Ariel Helwani Show’, he revealed his BKFC deal had always been on the table. ‘Platinum’ stated, “He tried to say, ‘Oh, you’re fired’ and then you haven’t seen me back. Now he’s saying, ‘Come home,’ and now you’re probably about to see me get a deal with them again. My deal’s always been on the table.”

But fast forward to his interview with ‘The Schmo’ a few weeks later, and the gloves were off. Perry called out the lack of worthy challengers and painted McGregor as all talk. According to him, “No hate to him, man, he’s a good promoter. If that’s what he wants to do, you know, it’s all a lie out here… But, y’all know for a fact that you can’t come and see me in real life to my face and try me, or I’ll f— you up, b—-.”

To wrap things up, with headlines that won’t stop, ‘The Notorious’ seems to be building his own empire, one faceoff at a time. And if Mike Perry’s warning is anything to go by, that empire might soon turn into a warzone. So the question isn’t just when McGregor returns to action, but whether it’ll be inside Dana White’s Octagon or the BKFC ring? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
