It’s nearly impossible to accurately predict what’s going to happen in an NBA game. We can make an educated guess. But a guess is all it’ll be. After all, you’d need to be psychic to have an ability like that. Even so, some predictions have an eerie and uncanny way of coming true. And Lakers legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson found this out the hard way after he made a prediction about Anthony Edwards ahead of tonight’s Playoff game 1 between the Lakers and Minnesota.
Anthony Edwards looked phenomenal against the Lakers tonight. Despite stars like Luka Doncic and LeBron James’s presence, Ant-Man was arguably the best on the court tonight. His efficiency and offensive dominance were instrumental in helping the T-Wolves. But it seems Magic knew that Ant’s style would present problems to the Lakers.
“I’m scared for my Lakers because the game’s most exciting player, superstar Anthony Edwards, is a matchup problem,” wrote the Lakers legend.
