FCS College Football Athlete Predicted to Join Super Bowl Contenders to Protect 2 x NFL MVP

In all fairness, Bison’s entire 2024 campaign is judged off that Colorado game—31-26 season opener loss. Wild to think this same squad went full beast mode later and ran the b-ll straight to an FCS championship. Honestly, NDSU’s FCS run just proves one thing—season openers mean squat. But while tracking Tim Polasek & Co.’s grind, one O-line beast kept grabbing our attention. Despite standing 6’6” and weighing in at 312 lbs, with Power 5 offers on the table, he stayed loyal to Polasek and the Bison. Word is, Tim always told him, “Anything you can do, you can do through NDSU.”

So yeah, seeing him pop up on the Mock Draft radar of a $6.03 billion franchise? Not shocked one bit. “27, the Ravens are on the clock. Um, hey, shout out to North Dakota State won the national title in the FCS, and you get a first-round interior offensive lineman, Grey Zable. I like him going to Baltimore,” Joel Klatt confessed on his show. When it comes to the Ravens and the 2025 draft, we do know one thing: going into it, Baltimore won’t have holes in their pockets. GM Eric DeCosta has done more than enough with free agency to secure the Ravens a safety net. Still, that doesn’t mean they will waste their 11 draft picks, right? Enter Grey Zebel.

The perfect OT fit for the Ravens’ already stacked squad. His Combine production score? A jaw-dropping 91—highest among all OTs. Throw in a 90 on the athleticism score, and what you’ve got is a 6-foot-6 monster bulldozing through pass rushers like it’s a walk in the park. All of this means perfect protection for Lamar Jackson.

And hey, if you don’t believe Klatt on this entire Zebel x Ravens romance, then we’d like to let you know that NFL Draft analyst Drew Boylhart called this OT the next Jason Kelce: “Grey reminds me a lot of former Eagles center Jason Kelce.” The only difference is that Grey is much, much bigger.

Other than that, much like Kelce, Zebel’s been locking down all five spots on the O-line like a seasoned vet. This “brick wall” with “ballroom finesse” is exactly the kind of weapon Baltimore and Jackson could use. But then again, when there’s a big-time SEC powerhouse waiting at that No. 27 pick, the choice suddenly gets a lot harder.

Preem Alabama talent

Listen, okay, Tyler Booker is an absolute menace. In the entire offensive guard class, this Crimson Tide wrecking ball sits on the throne. Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 321 pounds of pure violence, he doesn’t just protect the pocket—he erases defenders and steamrolls through D-lines like it’s a backyard brawl.

Now, why on earth do we think Ravens are going to pay special attention to Booker? Well, it all boils down to Patrick Mekari. After Mekari called it quits and left Baltimore for a free agency spot with the Jaguars, it left a small hole in the Ravens’ pockets.

As we had initially pointed out, although DeCosta has done a very fine job of filling such holes—this one has remained unfulfilled and could tempt the GM to push for the SEC talent. Will the Ravens go all in for Zable or fill their niche spot with Booker?

Or will DeCosta trade back to save currency for Day 2? Let us know what you think.
