Top teams in contention

McIlory and Lowry team are definitely at the top of the list of preference, but apart from that, Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kiayama are also in a strong position. The duo, who by the 2023 season were teamed with different players, but they joined hands in 2024. Interestingly, the team-up was fruitful as they finished at T18 last year. Even for the fact Morikawa, who is currently world No. 4, has performed well. He has two runner-up finishes this season, along with almost all events having top-20 finishes except the RBC Heritage. However, for the partner Kiayama, the story has been opposite, as the best finish he achieved is T33. But the duo still holds strong support with the great pairing result in the past.

Another pair that carries high hopes of the fans is Thomas Detry and Robert MacIntyre. The duo, in 2024, finished T8, and with their ongoing form, they are being rooted for by the fans. The Belgian professional won his first PGA Tour event title at the WM Phoenix Open. On the other hand, the Scottish professional has shown an impressive performance with two top-10 and two top-15 finishes till now.
