Coming to the end of the Stage 2 run at Talladega, multiple drivers and teams were eyeing a stage win. Joey Logano, Bubba Wallace, and Austin Cindric were all in contention. Team and OE alliance play a big role at such racetracks, and this win could’ve easily gone to Team Penske and Ford. However, Cindric checked up while coming to the start-finish line and stalled his teammate, handing the win to Wallace.
Well, Logano was fuming over the lost win and precious points he and his team could’ve gained. He took to the radio and didn’t shy away from expressing his honest feelings about losing to the Toyota camp, all because his teammate opted to block his run. “Way to go Austin, way to go, you dumb f—!” Logano raged over the team radio. “Way to f——- go. What a stupid sh–. You just gave it to him. Gave a Toyota a stage win. Nice job. Way to go. What a dumba–.”
Cindric later explained he slowed down to avoid potentially wrecking his teammate, a decision that seemingly didn’t satisfy the frustrated Logano. Well, the two drivers will have to make peace with each other quickly as there’s a lot of racing left, and tables can turn in the third and final stage.

The three-time NASCAR champion’s reaction highlights his difficult 2025 season thus far. Despite ranking in the top 10 in points, Logano has secured only one top-10 finish this year. The Fords have had good speeds on the speedway tracks. If it wasn’t for late wrecks and accidents, we might have seen one of the Penske drivers in the victory lane. This is why Logano was frustrated, especially with his teammates trying to spoil his progress in the race.
