Apparently, the Pacers vs. Bucks series didn’t end when the final buzzer sounded in Game 5 — not even close. After Tyrese Haliburton hit the clutch game-winner to send Indiana to the second round with a 119-118 OT win, emotions spilled over into chaos.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, clearly still heated despite being sidelined during the series, got into a verbal spat with several Pacers players as the final whistle blew. Coaches jumped in, Myles Turner tried to be the adult in the room, and the rest of the Pacers? Not so eager to walk away.
But the wildest moment came after the dust had seemingly settled — Giannis got into it with none other than Tyrese Haliburton’s dad. Yes, his father. And it got so intense that security had to step in before things escalated even further.
The NBA world couldn’t believe what they saw. Lily E. Batum, wife of veteran Nick Batum, summed up the internet’s vibe perfectly with one post: “WTFFFFFFF.”
