Southern California needs some rest. One calamity after another, this region of America seems to be facing the most of Mother Nature’s wrath. Were the Palisades wildfires not enough that now a water dilemma engulfed this region? One among the thousands stuck in this adversity is the Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal‘s wife Kamia Adams.
Bixby Hill woke up drowning. Overnight, a water main burst, unleashing chaos, then, the relentless rain joined in, making everything worse. Streets vanished. Homes stood on the brink. Panic spread like wildfire. By 6:30 a.m. Friday, disaster struck the 700 block of Rancho Drive near Cal State Long Beach. Water surged—three, maybe four feet deep. Cars sat helpless, their windows barely above the flood. And still, the water kept rising.
Meanwhile, Kamiah Adams had more things that were worrying her. As a resident of Bixby Hill, she felt betrayed by the officials of the area. So, she took to her IG Story to inform her 816K followers about the trouble and disruption she was facing. But it wasn’t just concerning, Bradley Beal’s wife was upset and angry with the authorities. Thus she wrote:
“@longbeachcity completely failed its residents this morning!!!!!! Houses and cars completely destroyed!! Millions and millions of dollars of damage!!” However, this isn’t where the issue ended, she further wrote: “My mom called 911 at least 2- times between 430am and 7am when help finally started to arrive! Why is nobody talking about this!?!” Citing her anger and the problems Karina Adams faced, she also tagged news channels like FOX LA and ABC.
In a following IG Story, tagging the media houses Beal’s wife continued: “All because a water main broke. City took HOURS before they shut the water off, When my mom first called it was maybe 1-2ft of water.”
Well, it’s safe to say Friday for the residents of Long Beach wasn’t amusing. A broken water main and rain caused much damage to the 1450 inhabitants of Bixby Hill. It’s only natural for Bradley Beal’s wife to express her frustration as she surely was expecting some rapid action. However, the authorities failed to do so.
This is a developing story…
