It hasn’t even been a week, but Tyler Shough seems to be already making demands as a probable future of the New Orleans Saints. He apparently told Sports360AZ that he hopes to wear number 6 after the availability of 6 and 18 became clear. Shough also doesn’t think it’s a big deal what number he wears as he tries to turn around a broken franchise.

While Shough seems to be busy picking up his Saints number, his competitor for the starting job looks set to be out for the foreseeable future. Derek Carr, who was rumored to have suffered a season-ending shoulder injury, indeed confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, I hate I have to say this, yes, I have a shoulder injury.”
