“More Washed Than a Laundromat” – Conor McGregor Gets Dragged Into Canelo Alvarez’s Mess As Jake Paul Makes Huge Claims

The heated exchange between Jake Paul and Canelo Alvarez has now pulled Conor McGregor into the mix. Earlier this week, speculation about a potential showdown between the two gained traction with reports suggesting that Paul’s MVP promotion was working on a cruiserweight bout against Canelo, tentatively set for May 3 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. However, The Ring Magazine, owned by Turki Alalshikh, swiftly dismissed those rumors, confirming that the Mexican superstar had instead signed a four-fight Riyadh Season deal with Alalshikh.

Following this revelation, MMA analyst Luke Thomas later claimed that Canelo used Paul as a “bargaining chip” to secure a better deal from Alalshikh. Unsurprisingly, this didn’t sit well with Jake Paul, who lashed out on social media, calling Canelo an “owned slave” to the Saudi boxing chief. In response, ‘Cinnamon’ didn’t hold back in his response, firing back at Paul by insisting he “just fights real fighters” and dismissing him as a fake boxer. The back-and-forth escalated when Paul posted a signed document on Instagram, suggesting that Canelo could be “bought like a hungry squirrel chasing a nut.”

Meanwhile, amid the social media spat, UFC megastar Conor McGregor chimed in, praising Canelo and Alalshikh by calling them “Planner/executioner extraordinaire! Brave.” Not one to let things go, Paul took yet another shot at both Canelo and McGregor, posting on X, “No matter how much money they spend, they won’t be able to make a bigger fight than me and Canelito. That irked them to the core. And don’t say Conor… he’s more washed than a laundromat. Dummies could have made Canelo’s September fight so much bigger by letting us do our thing and me taking his name to the masses.”
