Fred Kerley’s GF Drops 4-Word Message for Big Life Achievement After Grand Slam Track Setback

The fans will get to see the best of the best race against each other regularly, and we have a platform to showcase our talents and continue building our fanbase all around the world.” This was Fred Kerl’s statement when he was asked about Grand Slam Track. Unfortunately, Grand Slam Track wasn’t so grand for the Olympian. The fans did not get the best of him against anybody. Fred Kerley did not showcase his talent, heck it he didn’t even do justice to it with his 7th place finish.  Needless to say, he might have developed a fan base, but rather made a lot of trolls and critics. But among the negativity around him, his girlfriend has chosen to support him. What did she do?

Cleo Rahman, aka DJ Sky High Baby, took to her X to show support for her boyfriend after his latest win. Ever since the grand slam track, Fred Kerley has been subjected to criticism and a lot of online trolls for his speed. Replying to all of them at one, Rahman wrote, “9.87 Say No More.” The Azusa Pacific University is hosting the APU Franson Last Chance Invite from May 8th to 10th. Fred Kerley, making an appearance in the 100 meters of the invite, recorded a time of 9.87 (+2.9) to lead qualifiers out of the semi-final.

Donning an all black outfit, the Olympian took his mark in lane number 4. The moment the clue to run crackled through the silence of the area, he bolted. Benjamin Azamati matched his footsteps in lane 3, but the closer the finish line, the faster Kerley got, ultimately taking the win. Azamati ran 9.93s to finish 2nd. This was Kerley’s first sub-10 run in the hundred meters this season, making it is season best. Before this his best in 2025 for 100m came in his season debut at Trojan Invite.
