Shedeur Sanders Breaks Silence on Browns’ Rookie Minicamp After Deion Sanders’ Warning for Kevin Stefanski

Finally, Shedeur Sanders is moving in the stages of some work. His draft was a drama, sliding from the top position to 144th. Fans went against the league, calling it a combined move by the franchise owners. Some supporters even vowed to buy his merchandize from the official website instead of NFL store. Just after the Browns drafted him, the GM Andrew Berry talked to the quarterback, telling him that now onwards, it’s all about the hard work he puts in. On Friday, the 9th of May, they began their rookie minicamp. Boy, o boy, the rookie mesmerized everyone.

Yesterday, Cleveland reporter Brad Stainbrook also attended the practice where he revealed that the former Colorado QB went for extra throws and stayed up 20 minutes later after every practice session. So, he is doing everything right from his end to project himself as the starter.

On Sunday, May 11, after the camp concluded, the quarterback posted a photo with other rookie teammates. It also helped develop relationships and get an idea of the offseason ahead. The QB aptly captioned it, “Thankful for every player apart of our Rookie minicamp. Great relationships was made during our time together.

It’s all about the early stages of alignment. On the 2nd day of the camp, the Oregon rookie Dillon Gabriel started on the first snaps of practice. While everyone was excited if the HC rated Gabriel over Sanders, he denied it. The coach explained that whoever throws the first snaps has no effect on his perception. The purpose of practice for him is to observe the rookies. And then chalk out the plan to change their strategies accordingly.

Although Shedeur Sanders is ready for any type of playbook he will receive, there is one thing to be sure of. He will make headlines with every step. Being from the Sanders clan, he is carrying generational pressure.

Shedeur Sanders’ father praises his son

Deion Sanders‘ influence played a huge role. While some reports claimed he didn’t want his son to play for the Browns, the GM Andrew Berry paid no heed. He was clear in his mind that if the time came, they will go for the rookie. Coach Prime even thanked the franchise for choosing his son.

On Sunday, after Shedeur Sanders impressed everyone with his throws and coverage, the dad didn’t waste a single second to boast on social media. He shared videos from the rookie minicamp and captioned them, “Ok Young King @shedeursanders @clevelandbrowns #CoachPrime” That’s also a warning to Kevin Stefanski, who is still in the process of determining their starter for 2025. He will need to make decisions carefully.

The rookie is hopeful of achieving everything he wants to. Even after things went south in the draft, he is optimistic about his future with the Browns. He said during the camp, “Things could’ve been a lot worse, but I’m standing here smiling.’ That’s one trait he will need to control over the years. The game is not played just on the gridiron, it’s everywhere, with your teammates, on social media, and even in your mind.
