Brooks Koepka Shouts Out His Wife’s Hard Work Amid Growing Pressure to Fix Poor Form: ‘Proud’

Not long ago, Jena Sims labeled her husband as the ‘loudest cheerleader in the room’ after he joined her charitable event, Pageant of Hope, a non-competitive pageant celebrating children facing challenges. The gesture spoke volumes about the love and support they share, especially given their experience as parents to Crew Koepka, who overcame premature birth challenges. And now, a week later, Brooks Koepka is living up to the label that his wife gave him.

Sims has finally gotten what she always wanted with her career, and it’s clear the journey has been transformative. After two years of hard work, she’s embracing her newfound confidence, reflecting, “I worked my a** off for year 2, and not just in the gym.” For Sims, it’s not just about appearances; inner strength is what truly matters. A standout photo from her latest shoot showcases her bright smile and flowing hair, symbolizing her sense of accomplishment and pride in her progress.

“I look up to each of the models on the covers and in the pages, and still can’t believe I’m among them,” she says, expressing her gratitude. Sims concludes, “I’ve never felt more happy, settled, and confident in my life- thank you @mj_day and the @si_swimsuit team.” And Brooks Koepka, like the lovely husband that he is, wasn’t one step behind in showing just how proud he is of Sims. Koepka also reposted one of Sims’ photos to his Instagram story, writing, “PROUD OF YOU @JENASIMS.”

Despite all the off-course accolades, Koepka has been under fire for his recent play—he missed the cut at the 2025 Masters after a disastrous two-round finish and carded a 74 in Mexico City, fueling questions about when he’ll regain his trademark form. Under growing scrutiny, the four-time major champion now juggles cheering on his wife with the push to turn around his own game. Well, it looks like this feat is extra special for Sims and Koepka, as it was long overdue.

Initially, Sims made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut in 2024 after winning the magazine’s annual Swim Search. It was her third time applying for the open casting call. Sims shared that her journey wasn’t easy, with her first attempt only getting her through the initial interview round and the second year not leading anywhere.

But did you know Sims is not the only one who made her Sports Illustrated debut this year?

Brooks Koepka’s wife isn’t the only blonde beauty… Nelly Korda herself stuns in Sports Illustrated debut

Nelly Korda, the world No. 1 golfer, has firmly established herself as the best player in the women’s game, winning seven times in 2024, including a Chevron Championship. Stepping out of her comfort zone, Korda made her Sports Illustrated swimsuit debut in the 2025 issue, photographed on the beach in Boca Raton, Florida. “It was such an exciting shoot,” Korda said. “I think that’s what the shoot is about. I think that’s what life is about, also, sometimes challenging yourself.”

She added, “I had such a great crew to work with and work alongside. It was just so much fun. When people look at these photos, I hope it inspires them to rock what they got.” Korda emphasized the importance of being a role model for younger women, saying, “Golf has impacted my life in an incredible way outside the sport. I get to inspire the next generation. I see girls that look up to me.” Initially timid about posing in a swimsuit, Korda found the experience amazing, stepping outside her comfort zone and doing something new. “It was interesting; at the start I was definitely very timid because I’m not used to posing in a swimsuit and it’s so outside my comfort zone,” she said.
