“No Standard”: Track and Field Star Drops Bold Confession While Brutally Slamming Michael Johnson’s Grand Slam Track

Ato Boldon considers the Grand Slam Track to grow in the coming days. For him, the growth part in Michael Johnson’s track league is most common, and that’s why he wants athletes like Sha’Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles to join the track movement. While issuing the call for Sha’Carri and Noah to join the GST event, the four-time Olympic track and field medalist said, “I would love to see Noah get on board with Grand Slam…Sha’Carri, if she decides that she’s coming on board, I think it will take Grand Slam to the next level. I just don’t think that somebody of her magnitude can sit on the outside as this thing continues to grow, and it will grow.” Have they come up with any reply? No. But it seems like there are other Olympians as well who aren’t on good terms. One of them has recently opened up.

On May 16, Nia Ali posted something on her X-handle. The 37-year-old track and field athlete wrote, “Exactly why my children don’t run track, there’s no standard. I won’t be running in Grand Slam in my hometown of Philly.” Notably, the Grand Slam Track will come to Philadelphia on May 31 and will continue to June 1. But is there any reason behind such a decision? Meanwhile, Nia wrote, “It’s not because I didn’t try. I’ll see y’all at Roots Picnic though.” So, when GST is being promoted as the next big thing in the track and field world, an Olympic medalist has shed light on its shortcomings. Is there anything that has muddied the water for the contest?
