To make it more interesting, Manning went undercover as “Chad Powers” for a viral segment, showcasing his comedic timing and willingness to entertain. The Manning brothers are out there showcasing their on-screen charisma at the annual Disney Upfront presentation while promoting the upcoming comedy series Chad Powers. Yeah, you read that right. Eli’s undercover character in Eli’s Places went so viral that Hulu’s now turning it into a comedy series, with Glen Powell stepping into the role.
During its annual presentation, Disney highlighted Manning’s show more than anything else, which actually included major Disney franchises like Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. The reason? It’s Peyton and Eli Manning’s presence at the Upfront.
While promoting Chad Powers, Peyton and Eli playfully inserted their surname into popular Disney show titles like “Abbott Eli Manning-tary” and “Only Mannings in the Building” and proposed replacing Kaitlin Olson’s “High Potential” cleaning lady with a “cleaning Manning,” a Classic Manning move.
But if you’re thinking that their performance was only lighthearted, think again. In fact, the Manning brothers received mixed reviews for their performance at Disney’s 2025 annual presentation. And get this, Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t sugarcoating it while talking about Peyton and Eli promoting Chad Powers in their way, as he compared them to the Menendez brothers.
“I do want to thank the Manning brothers for finally answering the question, ‘What if two jars of mayonnaise could sing?’ The answer is, they can’t,” Kimmel said. “That was worse than what the Menendez brothers did.” All in all, while their presentation was lighthearted, it’s safe to say that Eli and Peyton Manning’s entertainment gig is catching everyone’s eye in one way or another.
Eli and Peyton Manning’s dangerous jobs at home
Long before they’re NFL stars, Peyton and Eli Manning were just two brothers growing up in a football-centric household. Remember that one time when Eli mentioned that his big brother would knock on his chest and make him name all 12 schools in the SEC? “I probably have quite a few of them, but to limit it to one — his most popular move, he would pin me down and take his knuckles and knock on my chest and make me name the 12 schools in the SEC,” Eli recalled.
Fast forward to now, and the Manning brothers are a common household name, but those funny banters? Yeah, they’re far from over. In fact, Peyton just confessed about their dangerous lives at home, all while comparing it to Tom Cruise clinging to the side of a plane. On Sunday, ahead of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’s release, Peyton hopped up on his official IG handle, while fanboying over Cruise and taking a jab at his younger brother.

“Tom Cruise’s work day: dangling from planes and jumping off motorcycles. Mine: a 3-hour Zoom with Eli where he uses his golden retriever and flying pillows to demonstrate a pass rush… We both live dangerously,” Peyton captioned his IG story, standing right next to the official movie poster of Cruise dangling off an aircraft.
While Tom Cruise’s stunts in the worldwide famous franchise are well-documented, especially now that he’s soon turning 63, Manning’s? Well, on one side, you can see Tom Cruise jumping from a cliff on a motorbike or clinging to the side of a plane. But on the other side of the spectrum, the Manning brothers are out there dodging rogue stuffed animals.
But at the end of the day, it’s safe to say that Eli and Peyton Manning are surely living dangerous lives. In one way or another.
