Luka Doncic’s Father Has Forgiven Nico Harrison as Family’s Emotional State Could End Boycott in Dallas

It’s been 10 days since the historic trade of Luka Doncic to the Lakers. He became the first European player since Pau Gasol to represent the Purple and Gold. Fans caught a glimpse of his abilities when he made his debut against the Utah Jazz. Even though one team’s fanbase is happy, the other has protested and even booed the front office executive during the recent game. Now, Sasa Doncic spoke about his son’s bitterness towards Mavs, which might reduce those protests.

Well, regarding the trade, I have to say, at least what Luka and I talk about, it feels like it happened a year ago. We’ve already forgot about it, the bitterness of that moment, It was a shock, but at the end of the day, it’s a legitimate right of every team to trade its players if they are not satisfied with them.” Luka Doncic’s father spoke after his son’s debut game, where the 25-year-old played only for 24 minutes, scoring 14 points, and dishing out four assists.

“Ok, what happened happened, life moves on. Luka adapted very fast, Of course, also, the Lakers organization, they really make sure you’re comfortable in this environment here. This trade is long forgotten, so that things are moving on.” Ever since the trade has been official, fans have protested in front of the American Airlines Center. Some are even prepared to boycott the games in honor of the former face of the franchise. But Sasa Doncic’s words might cool the heat on Nico Harrison.
