Since then, the two Gamecocks have been inseparable. They went Instagram official in December 2024, which marked one year anniversary of their relationship. Ever since then, their presence on social media has been steady. And recently, it grew after the Toronto Raptors drafted Collin Murray-Boyles as the 9th overall pick in 2025 NBA draft. It looked like Chloe Kitts was almost speechless as all of it got too real suddenly.
She posted a story of Murray-Boyles interacting with fans, signing autographs, and clicking selfies. It looked like a post-draft announcement scene. People were cheering for him. Amidst all that noise and celebration, Chloe Kitts seemed to soak it all silently. It showed when she captured the moment and dubbed it with simple “” emojis. Chloe showed up in a red dress, with full glam for Collin’s big night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. As Collin Murray-Boyles starts his NBA career in Toronto, far from home, Chloe Kitts is steadily building her own basketball legacy. One that could soon take her to the WNBA. Kitts just finished her junior year at South Carolina, putting up a respectable 10.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. Although the Gamecocks lost to UConn in the 2025 NCAA championship, Kitts was a key piece of their undefeated title run the previous season in 2024.
The 6-foot-2 forward has gained international exposure, representing the United States at the 2022 FIBA U18 and 2023 FIBA U19 World Championships, winning the gold medal on both occasions. And her game is becoming sharper and more polished year on year, something one expects from a player coached by the experienced Dawn Staley. Staley has never been shy about pushing Kitts to her limits. “I put a lot of pressure on Chloe, I do, a lot of pressure,” she admitted. “Because I feel she’s the player that can make really great basketball decisions and plays. And when she doesn’t do that for us, we’re a different basketball team.”
