Ayesha Curry & Husband Make Public Announcement As Unknown Stephen Curry Fact Emerges Mid-Interview

When an NBA player is as seasoned as Stephen Curry, there is not much left to accomplish in the basketball world. Becoming the only unanimous MVP, winning multiple championships, he has done it all. And as The Baby-Faced Assassin enters the final stage of his career, he has already begun setting new goals for the next chapter of his life. Turns out, one of them is sharing the iconic Saturday Night Live stage with his wife Ayesha Curry.

During a recent candid interview with Vanity Fair, Steph publicly announced his aspiration, “We want to host SNL. It’s something we both love watching. Our kids, they love it. I think it’s hopefully in our future.” Well, SNL has been a major part of American pop culture since its inception in 1975. And hosting it is a significant career milestone for every individual. NBA legends Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and LeBron James are among the handful to have already achieved that feat. Sure enough, Steph and Ayesha hope to join that elite list.

Although Steph’s full-time job is that of a basketball player, he is no stranger to facing the camera. Be it his aura in the documentary “Underrated” or starring in the new show “Mr. Throwback” it’s clear that he can capture the audience’s attention as an artist. Meanwhile, Ayesha has also starred in her fair share of shows and movies, including Ayesha’s Home Kitchen, Family Food Night, and Irish Wish alongside Lindsay Lohan. So, the power couple would be perfect SNL hosts.

Ayesha also revealed a lesser-known side of her husband that aligns with this goal, “Everybody thinks [Steph is] like ‘super athlete,’ but I actually think he’s a theater nerd like me.”  Unexpectedly, this comment led to Steph making a shocking revelation about his past, “I think if I had more time in high school, I probably would have done school plays. I did a theater production class though. I was one of those black-shirt kids running around on the stage.” Turns out, Bay Area’s beloved hooper was a theater stagehand as a kid.

Even Ayesha was unaware of this fact about him, “Wait, I never heard this before. How do I not know this?” Steph continued, “Chad Fair was my theater production teacher… It was an elective, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but it was kind of cool.” Well, it looks like the Warriors star will adjust perfectly in the SNL environment because he is already used to the atmosphere of live theater. Moreover, he has been looking forward to more camera facing gigs since his recent success as an actor.

Stephen Curry ready to dive into Acting World after hitting “Goldmine” with Mr. Throwback

To everybody’s surprise, Curry showed incredible acting range playing himself in last year’s mockumentary style comedy series, Mr. Throwback. And following its success, he has become open to more acting gigs in the future, “I think Mr. Throwback hit a goldmine with the timing obviously [launched with the Paris Olympics], and it was such a fast production, an unbelievable experience, and then we got to package it all right before the gold medal game. So hopefully, there’s a lot more to come there.”

He even hinted that once he has hung his boots as a basketball player, indulging in more camera facing roles could be the next step, “When I’m done playing, I’m hoping that there’s more opportunities to kind of expand there in front of the camera.” With his influence and popularity, its highly likely that Steph will accomplish his goal and join the likes of MJ and LeBron as the handful of NBA players to host SNL.
