Dodgers Co-owner Magic Johnson Sends Message to Clayton Kershaw After 3000 Strikeout Feat

Most people can only imagine this scenario. Magic Johnson sailing across the Europe, wrapped a fun week in Greece, worked out on the deck of his $7 million yacht, had dinner with his wife in Capri, Italy, and keeping up with the happenings in LA. The Lakers are making free agency moves and the Lakers legend reacted. But it’s what’s happening in Dodgers nation that stole his attention from the majestic beauty of the Italian shores.

The Dodgers are up against the Chicago White Sox (as of this writing, the Dodgers are behind 2-4 in the 8th) but the big moment came early. Clayton Kershaw just made history with a very Lebron-esque record. He hit 3,000th career strikeout during the Los Angeles Dodgers-Chicago White Sox game in Los Angeles.

As soon as Johnson heard the news, the Dodgers co-owner did what he always does and hopped on X.com. “Congratulations to @ClaytonKersh22 for reaching 3,000 career strikeouts with our @Dodgers ! ”
