And his mom, Karena Anderson, can be heard cheering loudest from the stands.
On the night of the final, everyone saw the emotional reunion. Cameras were trained on them as Kade finished his historic shutout and ran across the field to hug them. After all, as she summed up, “This is what we have always worked for.”

He mentioned, “We got into the spirit…when we—Thursday night we beat Wake Forest—we were all jacked up, so we said let’s get the flights…and we came…we missed the final game but it was an awesome experience.”
