ESPN Broadcaster Voices Frustration Over WNBA Officials’ Caitlin Clark Handling in Paige Bueckers Game

Superstars are meant to have a different whistle, but not Caitlin Clark! The Indiana Fever point guard had every WNBA team stumped from day 1. After all, how do you guard a six-foot-tall guard who can facilitate, control the tempo of the game, and shoot from just about anywhere on the floor? Their answer, however, was to be physical.

Defenders have been playing rough and tough with CC since the beginning of her professional career, because frankly, it works. Clark hasn’t been able to keep it together under great physical pressure so far, and to be fair, most teams would take whatever advantage they can against the Indiana Fever.

However, it looks to be getting way out of hand! In a clip uploaded by @CClark Report on X, ESPN broadcasters were heard discussing and replaying a possession in which CC kept getting fouled. “There’s a grab, there’s a hold, there’s another grab. All of those are fouls!” The commentator said, referring to the defense that JJ Quinerly and Luisa Geiselsoder were playing on the guard.
