This insider is none other than Scott Agness. For those unaware, Agness has been a Fever insider and has greater insights into what happens in the locker room.
Maybe that’s why instead of acting unaware, the reporter commented on a fan’s reply to Clark’s return with the seven-word message, “Have patience. At least several more weeks.” This public comment was enough to send fans into a frenzy. According to Mick, the latest stint solidified the fact that Agness knows more about the Fever guard’s return timeline than any other reporter.
“This is a big concern when it comes to Caitlin’s return because as much as we want to go and say Scott Agness knows nothing, yes, he does,” the host said. “Scott Agness worked for the Fever for however long he was part of the team. He was part of the organization when they won the first championship.” Agness has been associated with the franchise for as long as 12 years. HC White signed 2014 overall no.2 pick, Odyssey Sims on a seven-day hardship contract to stay afloat this season. The team had recently signed Chloe Bibby on a replacement contract before upgrading the deal to an end-of-season contract. Moreover, Odyssey carries a veteran presence and adds high IQ to the team in place of Clark.
She played 34 games as a rookie and started 31 of them. With an average of 16.7 points and 4.2 assists per game, Sims had earned two Rookie of the Month honors and secured a spot on the All-Rookie Team. Moreover, the Baylor Hall of Framer was a free agent before signed by HC White & Co. She joined Los Angeles Sparks in February this year, only to be waived in July 2025.
