It’s just a couple of weeks before the start of Arizona State football. Tickets are in demand as ASU Athletics revealed that they have more than 7,500 new season ticket holders this season! “Highest in over 10 years since we revamped our stadium and made it more of an intimate capacity,” Lisa Young, deputy athletic director, said while also sharing that they hit 96% in terms of renewal. That means most of their season ticket holders are returning.
Currently, the demand for tickets is so high that premium seats are sold out. And so, Young urged interested fans to act quickly if they wanted seats of their choice. Beyond tickets, they are also keeping gameday parking at $20 and adding additional parking spots so that fans can buy concessions. That would help reduce long lines of fans waiting to get in or out. After all, it is anticipated that all seven home games will be sold out. That’s impressive considering their August 30 game against Northern Arizona (opening game) and the September 26 battle against Texas Christian will be played in almost 100-degree weather.
But you can never have too many eyes on your college football program!
To maximize their home crowd advantage, ASU put a smart plan in motion. On August 13, 247Sports’ Sun Devils insider Chris Karpman tweeted, “ASU sent out a link via email to season ticket holders today, offering them up to four extra tickets, at no cost, to the NAU opener. Trying to pack the stadium with a perk.”
As per information available, upper-level seat prices start at $150 for all seven home games. An additional $50 contribution fee to ASU needs to be made. And for lower-level seats, Arizona’s Family found seats starting at $205 for the season. The amount of contribution is $175 for those seats.
The Sun Devils’ home games are always big. Remember how last season’s home game against BYU was sold out five days prior? The school’s athletic department did its best to make the contest as accessible as possible. However, general seating and all 10,000 student tickets were sold out—it was one of the biggest student crowds since 2018, as per Michael Meitin, senior associate athletic director for ticketing and business analytics at Arizona State.
“Be early,” he had warned fans, and it looks like he will have to reiterate the message once again.

This year, the Sun Devils enter the season with national recognition, landing at No. 11 in the preseason AP Top 25 poll released earlier this week. It marks their first appearance in the preseason rankings since 2021, when they opened at No. 25. The program’s highest-ever preseason AP ranking spot came back in 1976 at No. 3.
