“DC Pulled Out”- Dana White’s UFC Seattle in Trouble as Fans Declare “Worst Commentary Line Up”

UFC Seattle has been attracting quite some attention but for all the wrong reasons. Well, the event witnessed the cancellation of 7 fights, starting with the banger matchup between Dominick Cruz and Rob Font. The netizens have already started calling the event a cursed one and bashed Dana White for filling it with not-so-interesting bouts, according to many. And now, the line-up for the commentary team has also disappointed the fighting community.

MMA Orbit took to X and shared the roster for the UFC Fight Night 252 commentary team. And it consisted of Brendan Fitzgerald, Paul Felder, and Michael Bisping. Fitzgerald will be the leading man on the microphone and will try to entertain the fight fans with his play-by-play commentary. Well, he also tries to put a bit of humor into his commentary, which makes it kind of good to listen to. And the former lightweight contender and the former middleweight champion would join Fitzgerald with their expert opinions.

Well, oftentimes, the play-by-play commands are sent forth by Jon Anik. And most of the PPV events in the United States usually have Joe Rogan as a color commentator. If not the JRE host, the table usually has Daniel Cormier sharing the microphone with ‘The Count’. But this time, it’s all different.

As soon as MMA Orbit shared the news on X, the fight fans took over the comments section and revealed their disappointment. Even though the trio has often commented on non-PPV events multiple times, the fanbase wasn’t happy. Let’s see what the fighting community had to say.

Dana White’s UFC Seattle gets targeted for disappointing commentary team

Many fight fans searched for Daniel Cormier, believing that his skills on the microphone and partnership with Michael Bisping could have saved the event. One fan wrote, “DC pulled out?” Another fan commented, “So everyone pulled outta this one huh.” And most of the fans rallied to one single emotion led by the comment, “The worst commentary line up.”

‘The Count’ was the one that most of the fans targeted. One of the fans commented, “Bisping so annoying on commentary.” Meanwhile, another fan credited the former UFC middleweight champion for the kind of performance and analysis he dropped on the internet. But his announcements didn’t seem good to many. One fan wrote, “Bisping seems like a nice guy but I cannot stand his announcing.”

Nevertheless, there were a few fight fans who seemed to like the trio. Well, more love was showered on Fitzgerald, Felder, and Laura Sanko. But Bisping didn’t receive much hate in those comments. One comment read, “That’s a good team. It’s better when it’s Brendan, Paul and Laura. But Bisping is fine too.” Another fan wrote, “Starting to like his Bisping/Felder duo.”
