The Timberwolves basketball is back and there is good news amid their lingering injury woes. Heading into the All-Star break, the team had three of their starters along with a prominent role player from the bench on the report. Unfortunately, they added one player to the list even before the ASW break could get over. This time, it was a heavy blow because it was Anthony Edwards. Now, with four starters in the report, can the Minnesota side get any help for tonight’s match-up against the Houston Rockets?
Yes, the Wolves definitely will receive help. Let’s dig a little deeper to understand better. Ahead of the All-Star break, Ant-Man dealt with a nagging hip injury. However, unlike his teammates, it didn’t keep him from action. Despite his on-and-off trips to the injury report, Edwards managed to lace up. In fact, in the game against the OKC Thunder right before the break, 23-year-old without the presence of Julius Randle, Mike Conley, Rudy Gobert, and Donte DiVincenzo defeated the lethal side.
Nonetheless, the Wolves couldn’t cherish the victory for longer, as Anthony Edwards sat out of the ASG dealing with a groin injury. Right when everyone thought the team’s post-season had come to a close. There was hope. Ahead of the Rockets game, the team listed the star guard in the Questionable category not for the groin injury but for the hip. Moreover, Coach Chris Finch also revealed that Edwards engaged “largely in full capacity” during Thursday’s practice. And the final update revealed that Ant-Man would play.
Anthony Edwards (hip) will play Friday.

It’s undoubtedly a suicide mission to take on the thriving Rockets without the team’s core players. Especially with players like Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, and Dillon Brooks putting up fierce battles whenever they are on the floor. Let’s find out whether Edwards receives any last-minute support to take on the H-Town force.
This is a developing story!
