After Scathing Remarks on Crypto Scam, Khamzat Chimaev Hits Back at Sean Strickland’s Controversial Style at UFC 312

Sean Strickland never bites his tongue. Whether it’s about fighting, politics, or personal vendettas, the former middleweight champ always finds a way to stir the pot. His latest target? Khamzat Chimaev.

At the UFC 312 press conference, Strickland fired off a salvo at Chimaev leveling accusations of scamming his fans with a Bitcoin scheme. In his trademark fashion, ‘Tarzan’ went off by stating, “Let me tell you something, I had the same Bitcoin scam offer to me. It was like $100,000-$200,000. I was like, f— you, dude. I’m not going to scam my fans. I don’t need money that bad. But that’s what Chimaev did.”

Chimaev, never one to stay silent, hit back in classic fashion—by laughing it off. The undefeated star posted a photo of Strickland’s new mustached look ahead of UFC 312, accompanied by a series of laughing emojis on X.

Is this just banter, or is Chimaev setting the stage for something bigger? With Strickland’s sharp tongue and Chimaev’s iron fists, this war of words could easily turn into a battle inside the Octagon!
