After Winning Against Dana White, Conor McGregor Promises “Unfiltered Action” for $411M Business

Other than the UFC and major boxing leagues, BKFC has been rising as fast as the Red Bull team on F1 tracks. David Feldman wasn’t lying when he claimed that BKFC is the fastest-growing combat sports organization in the world. Their expansion into the European region has been tremendous. With BKFC events set for England and Italy, the promotion is doing everything to cement its status in the world of combat sports. Conor McGregor has played a monumental role in the organization’s growth.

“Italy has a wealth of BKFC fans and we are thrilled to make our promotional debut on April 26 as we continue our international expansion,” said David Feldman (Founder and President of BKFC) in Feb. With this statement, the promotion is preparing to make a debut in Italy and Conor McGregor appears to be at the captain seat for it. Taking to his Instagram handle, the former UFC champ shared a video of the main event fighters Chris Camozzi and Lorenzo Hunt and captioned it, “Italy Main event. Pure unfiltered action #Nobitchfightinghere.”

As the rematch between Chris Camozzi and Lorenzo Hunt is generating major buzz,  Conor McGregor is doing his part by promoting the event on a larger scale. Days ago, the former UFC champ took to his Instagram handle to upload a story where he emphasized that the promotion has opened the window to buy tickets for the marquee event.

Interestingly, Conor McGregor arguably won the race to the European continent against Dana White unlike UFC which has held minimal events in Europe, BKFC has already planned to capture the European markets. After Ilia Topuria’s victory against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298, the UFC had the opportunity to hold an event at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Spain but they let it go.

In addition to making BKFC a household name in the world of combat sports, Conor McGregor has promised to make a comeback to the combat scene, and that too with the help of BKFC.

Conor McGregor teases his combat sports return through BKFC

While having a conversation at the BKFC Italy press, Conor McGregor emphasized that he will make a comeback to the combat sports world by debuting under the BKFC, “Yes. The warrior spirit burns strong inside me. For sure. If you think I’m up here giving these speeches and leading these men into battle and I won’t step in there myself, think again. For sure. Conor McGregor will fight in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship – mark my words.”

The former UFC champion further emphasized that he has many fights that he can take under the BKFC banner, such as Mike Perry and even his former foe, Eddie Alvarez, “There are many bouts, showcase bouts you could say. Michael Perry, Mike Perry. You could say, Jeremy Stephens. You could say a rematch against Eddie Alvarez.” However, is this a good idea to fight bare-knuckled? Well, Matt brown believes it is.

While having a conversation at ‘The Fighter vs The Writer,’ Matt Brown revealed that Conor McGregor making a comeback to combat sports through the BKFC banner is much better than his comeback to UFC, “I think that’s a no-brainer. That’s by far the most exciting Conor McGregor fight out there right now.”

With Matt Brown giving the thumbs up to the former dual-weight champion, McGregor might actually return to the sport. Given that, what are your thoughts on BKFC Italy? State your opinion in the comments below.
