And breathe. That’s how the golf world responded after a suspenseful Masters Championship finally came to an end. Following multiple shake-ups down the stretch over the four-day tournament, it was Rory McIlroy who took home the green jacket in dramatic fashion, becoming just the sixth golfer in history to complete a career Grand Slam. For ardent fans, it was a treat for the eyes — and it seems soccer icon Alex Morgan felt exactly the same, as she certainly wasn’t left “disappointed” by the outcome!

All eyeballs were on McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau in the final round which somehow reminded everyone of last year’s U.S. Open thriller, where the Irishman was defeated by the American golfer.
But talk about sudden twists in sports as a late stumble from DeChambeau and a sensational surge by Justin Rose set the stage for a tense playoff, where Rory ultimately clinched the coveted green jacket.
