Amid Hollywood Aspirations, Michael Strahan Trolls $6,000,000 Actor in His New ABC Show

It’s always fun to see Michael Strahan get into his savage roasting mood. Yeah, yeah, the man is very sweet, but everyone has seen one time or another what the NFL legend is capable of. Whether it’s being lovely at first or taking shots at the other person whenever he has the opportunity. And once again Strahan has entered his god roasting mode. But this time, the roast may have been a little too much; after all, it was against a Hollywood superstar.

Actually, it all happened at The $100,000 Pyramid, who BTW has long been a fan favourite. It was great news for fans when ABC revealed that the show’s eighth season would return, and this time with the NFL veteran as the host. The season opener was massive, and Michael Strahan did an excellent job. But the real fun began in the second episode. It premiered on March 16, 2025, and might I add it looked no less than a star-studded. Tiffany Haddish, Michael Urie, Chandra Wilson, and Rob Riggle were all sitting on the hot seat for this episode fighting for the big prize. While everyone else had a great night, Tiffany Haddish was burned in between the performances.

Michael Strahan asked the actor, who has a net worth of $6 million, to spell “Wedgie” as a joke. And, although Strahan was laughing, Haddish took it as a challenge. But it did not go well for her. She went completely off track with the spelling. She spelled the word as “W-I-G-G-I-E”. Uh-oh! From here, we all know that Michael Strahan is not the type of person to ignore such a major blunder. The 53-year-old repeated the word, pronouncing it “Weegieee?” and laughed too hard. Even Michael Urie, who was sitting against Haddish, began to chuckle a little too hard.

But Michael Strahan’s trolling did not stop there. He even promoted the episode on his Instagram with a post about the roasting incident. The NFL legend cropped the clip out and captioned it, “@tiffanyhaddish ain’t READY for no spelling bee LOL ” Now, that is a rather big roast, but Michael Strahan is known for pulling such things off. Even when he was on Fox NFL Sunday, he used to mock his panel mates, including Terry Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson.

However, roasting these NFL legends was a very different thing. After all, Tiffany Haddish is a Hollywood celebrity. And well, while we are talking about Hollywood, did you have an idea about Strahan’s growing interest in joining the movie industry? Yep! The NFL legend does not want to stop at just being a TV host.

Can we see Michael Strahan in one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises?

Who does not aspire to be an actor? Everyone wants to be famous, to have admirers, and to be on television. In fact, Michael Strahan is no exception to that. Recently, he interviewed the very talented Andy Jassy, Amazon CEO, on the Good Morning America show. But it wasn’t just any other interview. During the interview, it was revealed that Amazon has acquired the rights to the James Bond 007 franchise and is currently seeking an actor for the role. And Michael Strahan didn’t leave the chance to make his interest any less visible.

The 53-year-old teased Andy about his future candidacy for the position with “You’re looking at him, but anyways, that’s a whole other thing”. James Bond has already been portrayed by many famous performers including Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig, and each has performed the role with their best efforts. Giving this part to a star or someone making their debut might be a huge risk. But Andy Jassy appears to be willing to take this kind of risk. The CEO mentioned how Strahan might have some potential to play the lead in their film.

Michael Strahan’s move to Hollywood might be a significant step for him. Even if he does not appear in a James Bond film, a small movie from a large production house or a cameo in a major film can help his Hollywood career get off to a good start. Only time will tell what happens, so stay tuned for more updates.
