He was an important asset for the Bay Area Warriors, averaging 17.1 PPG in his nearly 6-year tenure with them and even winning an NBA championship in 2022. This is an 8% increase on his first year in the new contract, where he was earning $24,330,357.

His contract in the 2026-27 season is looking a little different though. According to Spotrac, that year will be a player option, the deadline for which is 29th June 2026. The confirmation of the extension will see him earning $30,169,644 constituting 17.74% of the total team’s cap, bringing his total earnings to $92,690,273.

Wiggins had been with German sporting giants Adidas since his collegiate days, where he played for the Kansas Jayhawks.
