Angel Reese Displays Strange Tunnel Behaviour Before Sky vs Mystics Tip-Off

Angel Reese is finally back on the court, but something seemed different Tuesday night in Washington. As the Chicago Sky prepared to face the Mystics, all eyes were on the two-time All-Star who’d missed two straight games with a nagging back injury. But before the game even tipped off, fans and media noticed something unusual—not in her play, but in her walk through the tunnel.

So what does a usual Chi-Town Barbie walk look like? Fashion-forward tunnel fits and always camera-ready confidence, right? But not for the Mystics game. Instead of her usual glamour, the 23-year-old Maryland native was spotted in a blue oversized hoodie, matching shorts, and black slippers. Hood up, head down. She didn’t stop for pictures, didn’t pose, didn’t flash a smile. While other players made their entrances with confident struts and striking outfits, Angel seemed to quietly slip past the spotlight.

It was a subtle but telling shift. Maybe it was the pain lingering from the back injury. Or maybe it was a calculated choice, an extension of the Chicago Sky’s cautious plan to ease her back into action. Well, that’s because Head coach Tyler Marsh made it clear before the game that they were going to be smart with her minutes, a strategy likely meant to avoid any setbacks as the Sky try to recover from their five-game skid!
