Despite an injury scare late in the first half, nothing could stop Ant from a 43/9/6 masterclass, with his kid watching on.
Courtside reporters flooded Edwards, looking to find the secret behind the masterclass. His response? The drive fuelled by his daughter watching from the stands. “My baby was able to come see me play, Aislynn with my little girl she was able to come see me play. So I wanted to make the most of it man. I know she not gonna remember it but she gonna look back at it one day and see she was at the game so that was what really drove me today,” said the Ant Man.

The problem is- his off-court battles seem to be making more headlines than his on-court ones. And for good reason. It seems like dunking on his heroes like LeBron James and Kevin Durant it nothing for him compared to keeping himself away from the legal courts. There’s one more stacked onto his portfolio- another paternity lawsuit about his son’s child support.
Anthony Edwards faces fresh lawsuit from ex-girlfriend over “child support obligations”
Ayesha Howard, the mother of Anthony Edwards’s daughter Aubri’, has initiated new legal proceedings in California seeking to establish Edwards’s child support obligations following his earlier paternity petition in Georgia. According to reports, it were her residency and preference for the forum that prompted her to change it. But if all her accusations are true, boy, is Ant in for a heap of trouble.
Apparently, Edwards had blocked her on all modes of communication on news of becoming a father. Yikes. Not just that, Howard alleges she received no emotional, financial, or other support from Edwards throughout her pregnancy. She even presented the court with screenshots that show Anthony asking her to “get da abortion.” Honestly, this seems too unreal to be true.
But Anthony Edwards himself has refused to comment on the situation. Following the custody agreement, Edwards has formally asked the court to set his child support payments, marking the next phase of the legal battle. Winning in the playoffs against Luka Doncic, AND winning in court in a child support case? The Ant-Man can do it all.
