Caitlin Clark Recreates Iconic Taylor Swift Look Again Ahead Of Valkyries Game

It’s not hard to spot a Taylor Swift fan when you see one. Especially when they show up yelling Reppin’ T-Swift, baby!” while rocking the best shirt in the world.” That’s exactly how Caitlin Clark stepped off the plane on May 27.

While repping Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour moments on a sleek, pitch-black cropped tee. You can’t blame her, honestly, as a die-hard Swiftie, she is bound to reminisce about her Eras tour experience at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

She revealed earlier this may that she hit up the Eras Tour multiple times last year. The billionaire pop singer even gifted her bags of Eras Tour merch. Hear it from Caitlin Clark herself, “I have every sweatshirt and Taylor Swift Eras T-shirt in about every color and size.” She was also kind enough to say “So if anybody needs any, I will let you borrow (one).” The flex didn’t end there. “I have an option for every outfit.”

And before the Fever’s matchup with the Valkyries, Caitlin Clark made it loud and clear yet again: Taylor Swift isn’t just on her playlist, she’s in her closet too. While channeling the ultimate “tall It girl,” Clark stepped out in a buttoned navy vest and matching relaxed-fit trousers. That look almost mirrored Swift’s iconic Max Mara ensemble from the 2022 Tribeca Festival. From the fitted waistcoat to the loose, draped pants, it was undeniably close.

I’ve always thought a T.S. copy-paste was in order for the Tall Girl of it all. Couldn’t help but be reminded of Taylor’s Max Mara pinstripe vest + trouser look at the ‘22 Tribeca Festival https://t.co/p0CKk03AIp pic.twitter.com/LEA9JRaqmn

Although it’s safe to say that this is not the first time Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift’s closets collided. They both were spotted in the exact same black dress a while ago. It was a sleek, bodycon number that featured some sheer mesh shoulder panels. And some side cutouts that added just the right amount of edge. While Clark rocked it courtside with effortless poise, Swift had earlier debuted the same silhouette at a fan event.

Maybe, just like countless other 2000s kids who grew up on a steady diet of Taylor Swift anthems, Caitlin Clark loves recreating some of Swift’s most iconic looks. Or maybe it’s something deeper. It could be a hint at how like-minded they truly are, being trailblazers in their own fields. And greatness recognizes greatness. It showed when the two shared a suite to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans…

How Caitlin Clark Went from Eras Tour to Arrowhead with Taylor

Right after Caitlin Clark went to back-to-back Eras Tour concerts at Lucas Oil Stadium, where she wore so many friendship bracelets they reached “all the way up her arms” (she even had to take them off because “my circulation was getting cut off”), her friendship with Taylor Swift really took off. “Everyone was just chucking their bracelets at me,” Clark laughed while thinking back on the crazy moment.

But it wasn’t just about the bracelets. At the show, she got to meet Swift’s mom and Travis Kelce. And not long after, Swift even personally invited her to come watch a Chiefs game together. That invite became a reality when Swift brought Caitlin Clark into her suite at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ playoff game against the Houston Texans in January. Clark sat with Swift, Kelce’s family, and friends as Kansas City won 23-14.

Travis Kelce had a huge game with 117 receiving yards and a touchdown. And Patrick Mahomes secured his spot in a seventh straight AFC Championship Game. Moreover, Caitlin Clark, who’s been a die-hard Chiefs fan her whole life, had even joked about her loyalty on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. She said, “People think I’m a bandwagon fan, but I was there before Patrick and Travis. We were ride or die.”
