Caitlin Clark Set for Homecoming as Big Drama Awaits Diana Taurasi at ESPN

Very few can deny the fact that Caitlin Clark was amongst the most influential players to ever leave a mark in the NCAA. Sure, she could not walk away with a March Madness championship title during her 4 years with the Iowa Hawkeyes. However, she was a two-time AP Player of the Year, a two-time Naismith College Player of the Year, the 3x NCAA scoring and assist leader, and ended her college career as the NCAA career scoring leader. On top of that, the increase in viewership she brought to the team was unlike anything seen before. After having spent a full season with the WNBA, fans wondered if they would ever get to see the star player on the NCAA stage again. Well, they now have an answer.

According to a recent revelation by basketball reporter Vanshay Murdock, Caitlin Clark is all set to join the Bird and Taurasi show on Sunday! The former UConn teammates have, for the last few years, united to call out the important NCAA tournament games. They were recently announced to call Friday’s Final Four contests, with Texas taking on South Carolina, before UConn (where both players starred collegiately) squared off with UCLA. “The Bird & Taurasi Show” is set to pick back up on Sunday afternoon, as they will also be calling the national championship game live. Both days were said to feature special guests. Now, we know which special guest will capture the spotlight come Sunday.

Clark’s appearance will certainly excite the hosts. At the same time, however, it can make things awkward.
