Since she met the World number 4 in 2020 over the dating app Raya, the social media influencer has emerged as one of the most famous tennis WAGs on tour. Thanks to her regular appearances during Fritz’s events, where she’s seen cheering for him. Not to mention her zeal to flaunt captivating outfits. It also gave her a professional boost. After noticing her TikTok clips with dazzling outfits for the 2022 Australian Open, the organizers of Wimbledon approached Riddle for a collaboration. In a clip, dated March 11, from an upcoming episode of The Squeeze podcast, she gave a fitting reply to those who think she’s a “villain” for “calling attention” to herself.
Riddle revealed, “I definitely got a lot of backlash, both from within the tennis community and the fans. ‘I’m calling attention to myself,’ people just expected me to, like, sit in the box, be relatively private. Like, not capitalize on my partner’s career.” So, what’s been her approach to such criticism? “Came in guns blazing, I was like, ‘F— that!’ People make up insane things. It’s just the same misogynist, regurgitated b——- again and again,” she added.
Riddle cotinued further, “I’m like, ‘Oh, get more creative. Like, come on!’ Sometimes I’m able to really use it as a motivation too, where I’m like, ‘The spite in me is going to push me to do this even more,’ because you’re so mad about it.”
Well, that’s a perfect response from Riddle, isn’t it? She doesn’t need to prove herself to social media critics. She has been with Fritz through thick and thin, and that’s what matters the most to her. When the World No. 4 suffered that heartbreakng loss against Jannik Sinner in the summit cash at Flushing Meadows last year, it was Riddle who was there for her.
After Fritz’s loss, Riddle wrote a heartwarming message on Instagram. “What an amazing week @taylor_Fritz. I could not be more proud of you and grateful to support you. Your dedication and drive inspire me so much every day. Forever your biggest fan.” Probably, that’s the reason why Fritz eventually acknowledged her precious role in his life.

During an interaction with CNN in December 2024, Taylor Fritz revealed how much Morgan Riddle impacted his life. Appreciating her unending support, he said, “I think it’s great to just kind of have someone who is with you, supporting you, helping keep you focused.” The American also emphasized the fact that she understood his life as an athlete, as she chose to be with him.
“As someone who had nothing to do with tennis before, in Morgan’s case, she’s done an amazing job over the years just kind of understanding. She gets it, and she also understands what it takes each week and throughout the year to help me play my best tennis and feel my best. I think that’s a big thing – I just kind of have someone helping me at all times,” he added.
Even this year, in January, Riddle was present in Australia to cheer for Fritz during the United Cup. The event turned successful for him as he helped America win a second trophy in the final against Poland. After Coco Gauff provided Team USA the lead by winning her singles match against the former World No.1 Iga Swiatek, Fritz sealed the deal winning his own singles match against Hubert Hurkacz. And guess what? Riddle again took to IG and celebrated his beau’s accomplishment, writing, “Not a bad way to start the year .”
At the Australian Open, however, Fritz faced an early exit in the quarterfinals against France’s Gael Monfils. Despite the setback, Riddle stood by him. What else do you need from your partner? Isn’t it simply amazing to witness this lovely bond?
